I think you can say the same thing for KH3. It's already been said multiple times development is actually proceeding smoothly for KH3, and Nomura also just had this to say:

Thank, thats the interview i was looking for ! Considering this, working on the details shouldnt take 2 years so they could surprise us with a 2016 release.
IT's perfect for them, they said they want to help PS4 sales, so what better thing to do than releasing your 2 biggest system seller the same year ?
