that's true, however in the case of Saturn and Dreamcast it was a death sentence lol.

Saturn released 6 years after Genesis, so that just leaves Dreamcast which had a record launch then later died because Sega ran out of money to support it, it didn't fail because it launched 4 years after Saturn.
