I love the gamepad. If the whole concept he just explained in the interview had been cut into a commercial showing off ways that it could improve a consoles place in the livingroom back in 2012 and Nintendo had aired the crap out of it, there would be 30 million Wii U's on the market right now. Unfortunately, Nintendo's most misunderstood console hit at precisely the time they were making austerity measures in advertising... Too bad. Like I said, the Wii U is my current favorite console. I miss the functional aspects of the ganepad while on my PS4.
EDIT: Also, let's not pretend that an underpowered console still costing $300 in year three didn't have anything to do with it.
