I'm with you, man! I think the graphics are alright (they have to run two screens at once and they probably try to keep games low budget with the Wii U selling bad) but things just look overly complicated and I don't want to watch the Gamepad screen all the time. The game looks "slower" than previous entries and I guess that's because they had to slow down the flow of the game to make watching two screens easier.
It's like Nintendo invented soccer and is really great at hosting soccer tournaments but now they wasted millions of dollars on the development of the basketball and somehow have to put that into the game. So instead of just letting you play soccer, they force you to pick up a basketball twice per minute and throw it at other players for absolutely no reason. Then they advertize it as a feature and say they made soccer better by adding a basketball to the game. It's really weird.
