They never said it would not go to Revolution.

They did not force them to wait AND buy a brand new system in order to play the game. Everything they said was the truth, no Gamecube owner was forced to buy a new system in order to play the game. So what you clame is just wrong and misleading.

Since you claimed something from a text that wasnt there, the reading comprehension part still holds.
