What a competent professional would do is to ask the next logical question, which is, "why do you feel that way?"  You cannot draw a conclusion without that information, you can only make a rather bad assumption.  In fact, making that assumption says more about the person making the assumption than anything else.

As far as that next logical question, there are multiple answers.  The one I've seen most has to do with people saying that they find it annoying or distracting in general, not because it's a female character doing it.  If someone said they didn't like the banter in Uncharted 4, would you assume that it's because they have issues with men?  Probably not.
