The one problem is that this isn't true b/c, therefore you are not guaranteed to be able to play all of your 360 games. But still if you like the mainstream Xbox franchises you will be pretty safe.

The main advantage of BC is it free you up to trade-in your old console which may allow some to have enough money to upgrade. That said, the value of those old consoles is going to drop like a rock (everyone who now owns a 360 and XB1 should take their 360 to GS today to get max value) because the old systems are going to flood  the market. Within a few months there are going to have so many old 360 units laying around Gamestop is going to give you nothing for it.
