I understand Crytek. You could compare Crysis with Oblivion. Both AAA games, although Crysis had even more hype.
Both sold a bit more than 1 mill copies for the PC version.
But Oblivion has in total sold 4.5 million (all platforms included).
Or let's say Assassin's Creed. The PC version will hardly reach even 1 mill. But on all platforms AC sold 6-7 mill already.
That's a huge difference.
