| Qwark said: The director of Nintendo America (Reggie) has stated that Virtual reality isn't any fun and antisocial and purely technical stuff, I personally think his body isn't ready yet. We all know Nintendo is amazing at making bad hardware/business decissions, so does this mean Virtual Reality will be a huge succes. Because if Nintendo says something isn't big like Third party support, HD gaming, graphics, DVD/Blu ray placback, online multiplayer it usally is :p. http://www.insidegamer.nl/nieuws/117574/nintendo-vr-is-niet-leuk-en-niet-sociaal-het-is-tech |
Taking each of the list of things that Nintendo apparently said wasn't big in order:
1) When did Nintendo ever say third party support wasn't important
2) Yep, they got that wrong.
3) Graphics - except for the fact that PS2 and Wii won their respective generations so oops.
4) Do you have any proof that DVD/Blu-ray playback is massively important. Wii didn't think so.
5) I don't recall Nintendo ever saying that online multiplayer wasn't big or important.
So basically, yes, I'm feeding the troll.
