Well, since the world is becoming more diversified, standards are changing and becoming mudded. It's the way of cultures evolve. 

We can't forbid or outlaw everything that irritates us. If it does tangible harm to people, that's a different story. 

If people started to walk around naked, we'd put more effort in being healthy and eventually be more honest with ourselves/others. Haha. Yeah, it would mostly be unsightly or even a terrifying experience but it's not inherently bad for anyone. People might stay in the house more often.
