Well its been in production for a year (not sure the size of the team, could very well be 20 people lol) but Fall 2017 is really the absolute earliest. Just think of all the cinematics and cutscenes they're going to produce
It'll certainly be a 20th anniversary project but that doesn't mean it must launch in 2017. I'm pretty sure they're not going to release this game without it being perfect in their eyes. Add to that Squares recent success of delivering things in a timely fashion and 2018 seems the likliest release date.
Thats if the game is being outsourced or made by the FF16 team. If not then good luck to a release before 2018 as we'll be waiting for XV to be finished before it goes into full development.
