Maybe. I never played ICO, although I did play and liked Shadow of the Colossus. But I get the feeling it's unhealthy development cycle was there for a reason and that they didn't know what direction to take the game. I thought it looked bland to be honest. I did think bond between the kid and the animal was presented pretty well, although the kid calling for it already started to annoy me after the 5th time.
