Star fox could have been a nice surprise if they kept that a secret.
I think the issue is they didn't show games like fatal frame and devils third so it was mainly small niche games.
There were coop games which we didn't get enough information on to care about. How good is the singleplayer in zelda triforce heroes as it appears multiplayer in local only. It seems the Metroid spinoff is online but I had to look it up online to find out.
They spent a lot of time on games we've already seen a lot of like Yoshies Woolly World and Super Mario Maker. I'm hyped for both but I didn't see anything we didn't already know and we've already seen all we can without it being too many spoilers. They had only a brief trailer for XCX which was probably smart.
The high points for me were Starfox and Mario and Luigi. I would be hyped for the Zelda game if it was clear that I could enjoy it fully when alone or online. I'm not going to get to play with 3ds owning friends any time soon. Add fatal frame to that mix and cut out the small stuff and stuff we've seen to death and it might make a good 25 minute show.
