Nothing about the Wii U was a "bang", in a good way. To expect Nintendo to invest millions upon the already millions they invested in a console that gives them nothing or close to nothing in return is fantasy. Nintendo is a business and giving the fans what they want, which is support for a failing console, is a thing that they are doing. If their support isn't "bang" worthy, that's to be expected.
