Actually - I'm not.

I personally have my Modem hooked up to my wired only router -- that runs Cat6 to my wifi router that acts only as a switch/gateway. I think have a wireless BRIDGE in my bedroom that acts as an ability to remove the deadzone upstairs.

I actually DO have education in networking :).
