The question here is whether Nintendo need to beat Sony surely. If they're looking to win people over maybe, but if they just want to hype people like myself up, then that'll be easy for them. Super Mario Maker remains the thing I'm most excited for from this E3. I imagine that the NX year will be the one where it is important for them to "win E3" in the eyes of the general public.
