I mean they litteraly had nothing with the gigatons.

The last guardian sounds great, but technically it was announced long ago.

FFVII remake is good, but it's only temporary exclusive.

Shenmue 3 ? it's a kickstarter.

They came and they won, not with actual content, but just showing us what we asked for years.

Next level tactics. It feels like 2013 all over again. We got manipulated to that level where we can only be impressed at the manipulator instead of being pissed off.

They had one new exclusive with horizon though. (Edit : forgot dreams and that vr thing. mea culpa. The point of the thread is the 3 gigatons above not being exclusive or new still).

People who say these things really show they don't have much a clue in how the industry works. The kickstarter is to gauge interest. Sony is footing almost the entire bill for the game. 2 million will be less than 10% of its actual budget.

How much is 10 minutes of E3 conference worth ? Given the impact it has, it could be very pricy (2 million is a lot though lol).

Anyhow as it was in the E3 conference it probably just means sony knows there is interest in it, IMO the campaign is just good marketing. Still, the gigaton is a kickstarter campaign that was not funded, so technically not a gigaton yet. Also ps4 and pc and the conference gave very little details about the game. Saying Shenmue 3 was enough.
