SONY has more than enough money to easily finance Shemue 3 as it does with tons of its gaming IP's and studio
Shemue is popular and legendary franchise but not as commercially viable as both the Shenmue's flopped and probably almost brankrupted SEGA
Also as an exclusive,Shemue 3 will be a huge win for SONY so i don't know why they don't just finance it themselves
IT seems a bit shady and is probably a way to advertise and spread the word for SHENMUE as a franchise as not many modern gamers might know about Shenmue.
It is actually a very good way to market the game and hype it up,So is SHENMUE KickStarter campaign a marketing ploy by SONY and SEGA?
