Ironic perhaps, but not hypocritical. They would like the Wii to get more FPS, while they would like the other systems to get less, as in strike a balance. Don't give it just to systems who have plenty. Share a little.
It's not exactly a fair thing that the Wii only got the most mediocre of the CoD series.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
