Nintendo fans assume non-Nintendo fans like Nintendo franchises just as much as they do, and that's not the case. The only way Nintendo could maybe work that is if they had a 2 year headstart or so (yes, Nintendo needs 2 years, 1 year clearly doesn't cut it) with a much more powerful console, then maybe they could get 2nd place vs. Sony and push MS to third. But that's about it. |
If they want 2 years, they need to launch no later than holiday 2016.
