Did the Smash bros leak pretty much kill the hype of Roy/Ryu for you?

Was their any real effect on you being that we were already shown Ryu/Roy. I actually found out that I really didn't leave the direct excited. I guess I know better for next year, it's just so freaking hard not to look at spoilers.
