What bad patch? They are still curve stomping the competition, combined (worldwide sales, of course) First party titles are down this year and even Sony themselves admitted it but there is still worthwhile content (Bloodborne, Infamous Second Son, DriveClub, LBP3, The Last of Us Remastered, FFX/FFX-2 Resmastered, FFXIV, even smaller titles like Transistor, Resogun, Helldivers) . Last gen did not start with a bang either, I'm sure there were even people claiming that Uncharted 2 was finally the first must have for the PS3 way back in 2009.
