I agree but I think that a new franchise with the same budget could reach a high level of popularity.

Maybe. There have been a lot of flops, though, which is certain to scare film makers. We had The Seventh Son last year, which I'm pretty sure bombed hard, despite a star-studded cast and a large budget.

I think the Percy Jackson films are doing well, though.
