Both Monolith Soft and Retro Studios are overwhelmingly owned by Nintendo, making said games first party games.

I see you were disputing his use of "outsourced" and "DKC: Tropical Freeze"? I think what he meant by "outsourced" in this context is that it was developed by a subsidary of Nintendo rather than Nintendo proper. It is the same way Dell can "outsource" Alienware to create gaming desktops. Then again his first sentence seems to contradict this, "If it is Nintendo 1st party made then yes."
