Gaf insiders have essentially been saying that this E3 is going to be the best in years (for Sony as well as for the whole show) so to discount them is a big mistake.

 

maybe ill raise my expectations a bit, but i was really blown away by how bad the conference was last year. I know some people thought it was good, but I thought it was terrible. If it is going to be more like what you are saying, then I will make a thread dedicated to how wrong I was. 

They'll be a lot of third party and VR talk, but in terms of pure announcements I'd say Sony is contesting for the spot of best conference among the big 3.

New SFV characters

GG's new IP

Level 5s new game (hopefully Ni No Kuni 2)

the way things are looking TLG

maybe more about Persona 5 (fingers crossed for a 2015 release date)

maybe more on Rime and NMS (release dates for those 2 as well hopefully)

maybe a new GT

maybe the new IP from Bend/MM

maybe a new game from GG Cambridge as well

the way things are going, maybe a new japanese exclusive from Sega, Capcom or SE

I feel like I'm forgetting something, but there's massive potential in that conference.
