The difference between Splatoon and Sunset Overdrive are:
1) Sunset Overdrive sold only in the US, and maybe UK (that is a small market if we talk about WW sales), outside this two market was a massive bomb, like in Germany that sold some like 5/6 k in the first week, Splatoon sell very good or at least decent in all market, even in UK, the worse Ninty market...
2) Sunset Overdive is release in October, a good month for the sales, Splatoon in May, totally difference situation.
3) Probabily the most important, Splatoon have legs. And you can say what you want, but is alredy confirmed by UK and Japan chartz.
Sunset Overdrive? Not so lucky...
