Anyone with money or a decent shot at winning/getting settlement can sue. Sometimes the negative PR can pressure a company into settling on a lawsuit to just be done with it. 

My father-in-law had such an in-and-out case that the other guy's lawyers quit and he had to get new ones. He still lost because the other guy had enough money to drag it through court, and he still had to pay to get a lawyer. You really don't seem to understand how law works, so why are you commenting on it?
