Let's not forget that for all their skills and accomplishments, this Warriors squad is completely new to the pressures and atmosphere of the NBA finals, and are up against the best player in the world, who in turn is bringing the experience of 4 straight appearances on this stage to the picture. Plus he's playing like a man possessed, because he doesn't want 2-4 on his finals resume. Whatever deficiencies the Cavs may have, you simply can't belittle the challenge the Warriors face, unless maybe you're of the mindset that Lebron is overrated.
Your whole argument is even more ridiculous to me considering that you're making it out like people are arguing this Warriors squad to be all time great. Ya they had a superb record, but I haven't actually seen any kind of general consensus that they're some hot shit, all time great team to go down in the books. Yet here you are talking about how they'll be overrated if they win, because there were teams with similar records (playing in a tougher league) who could beat them. Complete nonsense. If they win these finals they'll be a very good young team who made a breakthrough and got the job done. No more, no less. And you can talk down their accomplishments all you want, but they didn't win all those games, and get out of a tough western conference (in which they also performed that well during the regular reason) by accident. If they beat Lebron while he's averaging like 40, 10, and 8 or some crazy shit in these finals....that's not on accident. Doesn't make them all time great, but so what? Who said they are? Who is overrating them?
We can start talking about whether they are over or underrated if they play in a couple more finals over the next few years, because a young team with this much potential should have a lot of room for improvement, and they'll be expected to deliver on that.

What I get from this massive wall of text that more or less you agreeing with what I'm sayig so lets come to a consensus if they win it all they will be the most overrated team to win it all in a very long time. Most likely since the last Warrior team to win a championship. So to put is simple if they win it all they will be the most overrated team to win a title in the last 40 years.
