It's not sarcasm. If I recall correctly, they only had 2 american Directs this year, and both ended with long New 3DS sections.

I hope they focus on the Wii U at E3, but then again I'm pretty sure they will.

Another point I forgot to make is that this E3 has a lot of wiggle room for failures and less than stellar showings.  So much can go wrong yet still allow for an awesome show.

MS could focus too much on casual gaming or games we are all expecting of them.  Sony could be subpar and not announce any holy shit suprises just focusing on what we already know they're coming out with.  Nintendo  needs to show something great for their sake, but even if they don't...

The third party studios will easily pick up the slack, be it either exclusives or multiplatforming games.

I really hope Nintendo shows us the goods.  They can still make some decent sales if they push the Wii U this year.
