Different situations.
PS2 not even got a $100 price cut to reach these level of sales but it was being sold at $199... the $199 price points was really strong even 13 years ago.
What is the comparable point today? $249? $199? PS4 won't reach this price point until the second price cut.
I see PS4 reaching max $299 this year and that will make the sales go up a lot but not the PS2 level at $199.
