MSs OSs isnt just popular it has a monopoly. Imagine if Windows would have the same marketshare like the ps4 has for 8-Gen consoles meaning 50%, we all know that isnt the case for PCs. Both cant be compared at all.
And if you look at the grand picture Sony and Nintendo arent that big in gaming. PC which is headed by Microsoft together with Xbox is by far larger than both together.
