I mean, I think it's cool, but like I'm seeing people slating this game as like Nintendo's big holiday block buster. To me, that's like Microsoft Delaying Halo 5 and slating Terreria as their big Holiday game. I just don't get it. Cool preorder bonus, though. |
Mario maker seems to be like four classic games in one (I am almost positive fans will recreate the original levels and post them online), and it has the potential to be greater (people hack those games to create impossible/speed runs, now they don't have to). Xenoblade seems to be the most gamer oriented game this year (by nintendo), but mario maker seems to be the most casual friendly (out of all developers). It would be wise for them to make this their next biggest hit (it seems to be the only game that truly revolves around the gamepad in a genuine way), as it could possibly get the wii u to gamecube numbers if done right. Yes, I agree that delaying zelda was a huge blow, but that does not take away from the potential of mario maker.
