I honestly didn't expect it to sell more on PC when we looked at the enws, the lack of PC marketing, lack of showing the game at it's fullest settings (something a lot of PC users were noting CDPR a lot and hardly got a straight up answer for it), the Steam asking price is £50 which is double the amount of usual multiplat releases on Steam, GoG had it cheaper due to pre-orders or having previous WItcher games on GoG which CDPR own. Out of all that I honestly just didn't expect it to sell that well, 1.3 is nice and all and I want it to sell more but hey 2.7 man, boom, jobs done, game over. |
The Witchers franchise sold 6 million games up to mid 2013... only 2.2 million being The Witcher 2 (2011 release)... so the first game sold maybe 4 million alone only on PC.
Yes... it is a PC franchise and a known one.
The franchise can be at 12 million or more right now... it is a 2007 franchise.
