I agree Star Wars Episode III was great, and it had a hint of what made the original trilogy great. Episode II was okay and still find it enjoyable enough, but Episode I was disappointing in hindsight. Darth Maul and the lightsaber duel remains pretty cool though. I went to the premiere in London for that movie, so that has a special place. The first also has the funny distinction of being the movie I saw the most times in the movie theatre; including the 3D version two years ago, six times! I've seen III four times in the theatre.

Wow that's a lot of times for episode 1 in theaters! I loved watching it as a child, but it absolutely hasn't aged well since I've become older. Episode 3 has gotten better since I was a kid, in contrast.

I feel exactly the same way.
And I was young, 11 and was a Star Wars fan for a couple years since Rebel Assault II introduced me, I loved the movie back then too so I begged pretty much everybody to take me. Pretty much everybody did
.
Two years ago with the 3D version me and my cousin thought "why not?" So the total went up to six. Too bad they cancelled the other movies, they were pointless releases sure, but I personally wouldn't have mind seeing them again in theatres and was especially anticipating finally getting a chance to see the original three on the big screen. Wasn't to be I guess, now to wait for EpVII!
