Yeah, that also crossed my mind .

As far as I'm aware the criteria for becoming a mod wasn't your history, your gender, your race or whatever you do. It was whether or not you would be a good moderator. Being permabanned or nearly permabanned, leaving the site etc. is irrelevant if you could be a good mod. That's why there's so many mods who were added this time.

So how did you become a mod then?
