We had two pokémon games in the two past year (or 4games depending on the way you look at it). X/Y in fall 2013 and AS/OR in fall 2014. So it is not too to think that nintendo is aiming to make the franchise yearly and that we will see yet a again a new pokémon game this fall.

Personnaly, I think X²/Y² is the most likely since Zygarde is to lame, useless and boring to highlight a Pokémon Z game.

That is incorrect. Series is pretty much has been a yearly series.

We've had more pokemon games in recent years.

2014: Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby
2013: X/Y
2012: Black 2/White 2
2011: Black 1/White 1
2010: Heart Gold/Soul Silver
2009: Platinum

High chance of being announced but...

Its either gonna be Pokemon Z, Pokemon X2/Y2 or another remake (which is highly unlikely out of the three).

What I'm hoping is they dont announce it. I dont want to play Pokemon games yearly (been doing that since 2011 and I'm close to being burned out lol).

Edit: I dont think its gonna be at E3 but a Nintendo direct.

Actually, it's only been a yearly franchise since 2012 in Japan. They had Black and White released at 2010 and nothing at 2011. Seeing how the next game is black and white 2 in that list, its possible there wont be a Pokemon game this year.
