Showtime bringing streaming service to Playstation Vue.

I was thinking the same thing about HBO, if they can integrate Showtime like this I see no reason why they can't do the same with HBO.

I think it would make more sense for the to avoid announcing anything for Vue at E3. I only say this because I can already see the threads about how now it's Sony that doesn't care about games and blah blah blah. I do expect news soon though.

Oh, and I didn't realize that the Ipad app was out, that's good news. Hopefully an android app is on the way aswell.

What I mean about a Showtime only sub is, allowing someone to get Showtime through Vue for the $10.99 without being a Access, Core, or Elite subscriber. I think the same should apply for HBO if it comes to the service. I know some people are only going to want HBO and Showtime, and couldn't care less about the other stuff, so I think that would be a big option that could draw consumers.

I hear you about E3, but I think Sony and Microsoft have to continue to push forwad and show these devices as a PC/Set Top Box/Cable Box Replacement for your TV. There will no doubt be a group of people that will sling shit, but they (Sony and MS) have to battle through. XBO and PS4 are both battling against Android, Roku, Amazon, and Apple now for control of the TV. These other devices offer streaming games which are only going to become more and more competitive in the comming years, and they offer a much deeper software library that expands far beyond games. 

I would hope that console gamers have learned from 3DS and Vita what will happen to PS4 and XBO if Sony and MS don't compete with other all in one devices.
