He plays an absolute psycho in the first Lethal Weapon (for...understandable reasons), the 2nd he's a bit less psycho (but still unstable), the 3rd and 4th he's much better (Basically his partnerning with Danny Glover aka Roger and his interaction with Roger's family, starts to bring him back to earth so-to-speak...part of what LW1 so compelling for me, was his emotional distress, which honestly, I thought he played pretty dang well.
