| SubiyaCryolite said: Thats about the 3DS version specifically. Maybe it doesn't translate well to handhelds? Maybe the game aged badly? "Keza MacDonald: I have, although not quite as much as I’d have liked to. I finished it on Wii, and despite the fact that I literally just played all the way through Majora’s Mask again on 3DS with no complaints, I’m finding Xenoblade a bit of a tougher sell on the handheld. I’m not anti-remakes. I’m pro-remakes. But a game like this is tough to play on the 3DS. That said, I’m amazed it runs it at all." Seems pretty straightforward. |
Read it again. Keza loves the game, though she admits it is flawed and feels that the 3DS port is greatly inferior to the original. Jason (who reviewed the game, initially giving it a 'Yes') agrees that the port is poor, but goes further and says that he doesn't really like the game at all. Just read Jason's comments... it's clear he has decided that he never liked the game to begin with, and only reviewed it in a positive light because he bought into the hype. He outright says that Xenoblade's only redeeming quality is its soundtrack.
