Max as a character - what the hell was that performance. He was grunting like a caveman and had psychological problems. It is a far cry from the cool characterisation by Mel Gibson.

You didn't watch a lot of action movies lately, did you ?

I've never seen any movie with such a superb directing when it comes to action scenes. And Mad Max pretty much set a new standard.

Max is a dehydrated man, and stillt traumatized by the events he has been through (it was supposed to be a trilogy, so that'll be in the sequel). And as for the plot, it's a bunch of people running for their lives. Also, it's an action movie. What did you expect story-wise ?

 

If it's a trilogy, how did his son turn into a girl?

I found Kingsman to have better action scenes. The last action movie to really blow me away was The Raid.

I expected a lot more twists and turns. I mean they made a 2H movie about a car chase, which would explain why the action is so repetitive.
