Haha, I find funny all the PS3 people who are now saying resolution doesn't matter. If you really think that, then stop pushing the BS about HD and I'll also point to this thread the next time anyone mentions higher resolution is better.
As an FYI, in general, the lower the resolution, the better the game runs. Since the processors and GPU has less actual pixels to worry about, more processing power is put to the other things like post processing effects which is why the PS3 looks better according to some accounts. This is the reason why Lair was horrible in 1080p, they weren't able to render the entire area without significant problems. Its also the reason why you can easily play Crysis in 1024x768 while having problems at higher res.
Btw, this is the guy who discovered the native res on number of other games so he has credibility, much more so than the people on here denying it.
