Splatoon is not a typical shooter. It's styling mirrors Japan's anime/aidoru culture, the hub is practically Shibuya.

A big part of the US's love affair with shooters seems to be the gun/military porn, something Splatoon does not provide.

Forgot Japan. 45,000 in France and UK. Seem probabily 100,000 in Europe. US is gonna to be 1.5:1 to 2.5:1 the Europe first week numbers. so.

Probabily 150k if you are pessimist, and 250k if you are octimist.

Seem nearly that you WANT that the game will sell under in US than in Japan, even if you know is unlukely... and i dunno why honestly.
