I'm not opposed to the concept of a remaster, as in re-releasing an old game to update it todays standards. However, 'remastering' a game just a couple years old just feels unnecesarry to me. There is not really a lot of improvement over the original to be made, so why release a remaster.

I can somewhat understand it if it releases on a different gen console, although I am a big supporter of backwards compatibility which is much better. I guess what bugs me most about it is that devs pretend these remasters are something else than a cross gen port. Because that's basically what they are.

Also, the don't like it don't buy it argument can be made for lots of things. You didn't have to buy Oblivion Horse Armour. Doesn't change the fact it was crappy DLC.
