Nintendo thinks about parental concerns first, and that's exactly why there is no voice chat. As a parent, I appreciate that and will continue to buy their products. If you don't like that, COD, Battlefield and Halo are all out there for you to enjoy. |
I read your analogy, and it sucks. It is not an uncommon practice to expect a game to have the most basic of features such as online play, customizable local matches, and voice chat. That is like saying mario games can stilll be 8 bit games because we should not expect them to have the same level of technical detail as modern games
Hey, have you ever heard of parental controls along with a mute off button. There are tons of ways to deal with this issue and Nintendo is choosing the worst one. I also doubt your daughter would consciously turn off the mute button for strangers to call her a whore. She could however benefit from turning mute off to talk to her friends. Mute some people =/= mute everyone.
You are literally taking one extrenuous case and using it to ruin the potential this game has for everyone.
"If you don't like that, COD, Battlefield and Halo are all out there for you to enjoy. "
As a video game maker trying to make this game accesible to EVERYONE, this is the most ignorant stance to take
