Random Encounters are the pits. You shouldn't do this anymore. They were used in the 80s because of memory limitations. When Lufia II arrived, there was just no excuse anymore.
I also hate having `1 trillion characters in my party. Once you cross that line, you're just asking me to forget some of the other characters. Chances are, if you have that many characters, there are some that you won't give a crap about.
Characters that look the same: One of the things that I have come to hate about modern JRPGS and JRPGS in general, is that everyone looks the same. They have the same hair styles, faces, etc. I know most are Anime styled but it gets tiring seeing the same guy all the time. "Blond or brown hair, sword wielder, etc.) The stereotypes are getting to me. (This is more of a rant)
Slow Battle Systems: I HATE games that have a battle system that's as slow as dirt. I hate pressing a button and having to wait 5 seconds for the attack to execute. It kills me! In addition to that, I can't stand Flashy special attacks that take an hour to show. It gets tiring after the first few uses.
