Underage girls that are explicitly shown in these games never REALLY bothered me, but I can understand the annoyance and complaints. The same can be applied with annoying voices. I'm used to English dub voice acting in anime, so I guess it never bothered me in JRPGs. 
Edit: Turn based gameplay anyone? Surprised no one listed that yet.
