Most of those gifs from Gaf were posted by people that were playing GTA4 on their 360 Devkits off the HDD. I'm sure alot of the popups are fixed for the retail, so there's no need to waste 30 buck on something so minimal. Same goes for PS3 owners upset about 90 pixels, ps3 version has more PP to make up for those 90 pixels.
