Initially I was against people saying Splatoon didnt need voice chat but after actually playing it first hand I can see that it doesnt really need it. Sure if would help on Splatzone and maybe future modes but for Turf War it wouldnt help. The matches go too quick for issuing commands over voice chat to help much.
As for the slow roll out of content, I absolutely hate it. Splatoon is a good game but it is severely lacking in modes.
Honestly I feel and have always felt that the game was rushed to release.
