Splatoon is THE reason to get a Wii U!

Seems like a game that will fade fast to me.  The lack of critical features for an online game like voice chat certainly killed my interest so maybe I am not the best to judge.  I expects its legs to be smaller than a typical Nintendo game though...

Because free updates till whole summer and good word of mouth, this game can easily have better legs than typical Nintendo game.

And yes, this is one of those games that you need to play to see how fun and good is.

I played on the test dates.   Really didn't seem that fun.  It was ok, but nothing really impressed me that much.  I remember being really annoyed by the controls until I figured out how to turn off the motion controls.  I was also super annoyed with the lack of voice chat, especially in a game where you can use different weapons that can be used cooperatively... Not being able to communicate and plan out strategies drove me nuts.  

i have lots of other small gripes about the game, but yeah, it very well could have long legs because it is a Nintendo game.  However, it failed to win me over...
