This is sounding more and more likes bad news to me, looks like I'll be going with the GTX980Ti then if all this holds up. I have to say, I'm rather disappointed in AMD here, there's no sense in bragging about HBM if you're only going to give us 4GB of it and on top of that serve us GPU's that can't compete with Nvidia on neither performance nor wattage and noise.
